  2. UKZN Acting Academic Leader Discipline of Speech Language Pathology, School of Health Sciences: January 2018- February 2020. First Black South African Female Academic Leader for the Discipline of Speech Language Pathology
  3. Chief Speech Therapist and Audiologist- 01 April 2013 to 30 June 2017. The first Black female HOD in the history of the department of Speech Therapy and Audiology at King Edward Hospital.

  1. Communication disorder screening program establishment for preschool aged children.
  2. Peadiatric HIV/AIDS, communication, swallowing and hearing management.
  3. Ototoxicity monitoring in children.
  4. Diagnostic audiology in children
  5. Voice disorders in children.
  6. Swallowing disorders in children.
  7. Neurological disorders and communication in adults.
